Greetings, Commanders!


Just when you thought September couldn't get any better, we’re back with another dev blog, packed with exciting updates. We’re so excited to share what’s coming in October, so let’s jump right in!


Faction Ops


In the new Faction Ops game mode, you’ll embark on daring missions against rival factions, using ships from a specific faction. Along the way, you’ll face off against tough bosses, with the chance to earn new Squad Leaders (more details on them soon).

As you complete these missions, you’ll collect crafting components for our brand-new crafting system. Plus, hitting key milestones will unlock some stellar rewards, including a legendary unit.


Crafting


Introducing the crafting system, where you'll discover unique equipment sets: Abyss and Dispatch. To craft these sets, you'll need to gather resources scattered across various game modes. The resources you choose will determine different outcomes, including the type of equipment you're crafting—be it weapons, hulls, or other gear.

Want to tilt the odds in your favor? Use different types of boosters to influence rank, rarity, or boost sub-stats!


Dispatch


Dispatch is a new game mode where you send your units on real-time missions. Success depends on your units' combat power. During these missions, you can collect rewards like unique unit fragments and crafting resources for specific sets.

Each mission is themed around an affinity, faction, or role. If your units match the theme, they'll receive a combat power boost.

The mode features a weekly reward track: the more missions you complete, the better the loot. Plus, meeting certain campaign star requirements will allow you to perform multiple dispatches at once. Multitasking has never been this rewarding!


Spooky Season


Something wicked arrives on the Frontier! A frightful new event is creeping up this Halloween, where you'll face off against a vampiric boss. Can you guess his name from the portrait?

Of course, this is just a snapshot of some of the content we have in development, and there's still much more to cover! Our goal is to create a balanced and fun gameplay experience, so refinements during the development process are likely, and some of this information may change.
