Features

  • The Arena has received a major overhaul!
    • Arena seasons now have up to 3 modifiers that change the behavior and stats of certain effects and units.
    • A new currency has been added for arena participation: Blood Tokens
    • Blood Tokens can be spent in the new Arena Market.
    • Fighting in the arena is now done against a random player within the appropriate rating range.
    • Multi battles are now usable in the arena.
  • A new side panel has been added which controls multi-battling behavior.
  • In the multi-battle result popup, the equipment is now sorted by rank and rarity.
  • Introducing the Implant market!
    Use implant breakdown currency to buy implants.
    Breakdown currency is gained by selling implants.
  • Equipment now costs credits to be removed from a unit.
  • A start panel has been added that allows players to log in/out, as well as access the Help menu before entering the game.

Balance

  • Vindicator's charged skill has been adjusted to now apply the Corrosion to the main target.
    Additionally Magnetized Shielding is now unremovable.
  • Demolisher's refitted passive has been reworded for more clarity and can no longer critically hit.

UI & Visual Changes

  • We have updated the visuals of all campaign stage selection scenes.
    Added new planet shaders, particle effects, ship models, lens flares, improved lighting, and optimized real-time lighting.
  • Adjusted Starmap table camera for a more cinematic feel.
  • Added green color to combat text pop-ups when applying critical repairs.
  • Added blue color to combat text pop-ups when applying shields.
  • The hamburger menu has received updated icons and background.
  • We have added a settings toggle that disables the Abyss cluster unlock camera transition animation.
  • We have added a settings toggle that disables the special camera for boss encounters (or any other encounters that use the boss camera), which will use the standard combat camera instead.
  • General Colosso has received some visual improvements.
  • The henchmen in all Bounty encounters have received new portraits.
  • The following characters have received spine animations:
    • Xiaodao
    • Custodian
    • Rookie
    • Orel
    • Razi
    • LeSabre
  • Several characters' sprites and spine animations have been flipped.
  • The news popup background has received a facelift.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused the item filter to not apply to abyssal equipment.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Oleander's Hit Mitigation to not work.
  • Fixed an issue that caused General Colosso's Marked debuff to remain on units That survived his attacks by triggering Cheat Death.
    The Marked debuff should now properly be removed in those cases.
  • Fixed an issue with the "Skip Marked" targeting interaction and Taunt causing the henchmen to freeze in the General Colosso Bounty.
    The henchmen will now properly attack the taunting unit in cases where Taunt is being used.
  • Fixed an issue with Yazid's refitted passive.
    It will now properly only activate when his own Cheat Death is triggered.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Hacking and Security of NPC units to be higher than intended after the recent change to refit bonuses.
    These values should now be what they were before that update for NPC units.
  • Fixed an issue causing units applying Stealth to others to have the stealth fx applied to themselves rather than their targets.
  • Fixed an issue causing the Disabled and Stasis animation states on units to persist on combat retry.
  • Fixed an issue with munition VFX sometimes persisting on a combat retry.
  • Fixed an issue causing unit death explosions to retrigger in subsequent multi-battle combats.
  • Fixed an issue with the multi-hex unit grid outline shader sometimes behaving irregularly.
  • Fixed an issue with environmental elements occluding battlefield vision in the Marauder combat scene.
  • Alliance applications will now display an error message when the application being accepted is no longer valid.
  • Fixed an issue causing the Vault progress bar in the Alliance panel to display incorrect values.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause players to get hard-locked in the unit rank-up tutorials.
  • Fixed an issue that caused interaction with the implant menu in the pre-combat Unit management panel to break implant and gear functionality.
